- In the early morning hours on September 28, 1991, James SCHLEPPE was found on the side of the Trans-Canada Highway near the intersection of Valley Ridge Road NW suffering major injuries. SCHLEPPE was transported to hospital where he later died. Investigators determined that his death was caused by homicide.
