- On September 29, 1946, shortly after midnight, police located Chu KUNG lying on the ground near the intersection of 3rd Street and 2 Avenue SE. Kung was suffering from injuries to the head. KUNG was transported to hospital where he later died. Police believed this was a possibly a robbery gone bad.
